Peach Basil Lemonade

- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup peach juice or nectar
- 2 peaches, sliced
- 4-5 fresh basil leaves
- 4 cups sparkling water
In a saucepan, dissolve the sugar with the water over medium-high heat. Once dissolved, allow it to cool completley. Once the syrup has cooled, add the peaches, basil, peach nectar, lemon juice and sparkling water to a large pitcher. Mix well.
Serve immediately over ice or store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
