Orange & Thyme Lemonade

- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 6 thyme sprigs, divided
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 orange, sliced
- 3 cups water
In a saucepan, dissolve the sugar with the water over medium-high heat. Once dissolved, add half of the thyme sprigs and allow it to cool completley. Once the syrup has cooled, remove the thyme and discard. Add the lemon juice, orange juice, syrup, water, orange slices and remaining thyme sprigs to a large pitcher. Mix well.
Serve immediately over ice or store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
