Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Grease a loaf pan. Set it aside.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set it aside.
In another bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the butter. Gradually, pour in the sugar and eggs. Mix in the banana and vanilla. Mix in half of the flour mixture. Add the milk and mix until smooth. Mix in the remaining flour mixture. Transfer the batter to the loaf pan and bake until an inserted toothpick comes out clean, for about an hour. Allow to cool before removing from the pan.
Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
